For his role as President and Chief Executive Officer, Stuart brings over 30 years of experience and success in building great leadership teams, fostering strong customer/partner relationships, developing winning consumer products brands/marketing, and driving a solution focus to achieve win-win outcomes. Most important to Stuart is cultivating and encouraging a winning culture defined by positiveness, empowerment, urgency, agility, accountability, recognition, and simply doing what is right for all stakeholders and the greater community. He is laser focused on ensuring the Compass family of consumers, patients, dealers, retailers, clinics, distributors, and team members are successful together.
Prior to joining Compass in 2016, Stuart was CEO of Sun & Skin Care Research, a manufacturer of sun and skin care products including such brands as BullFrog and NO-AD. Prior to this role, Stuart was CEO of Personal Care Products Company, the leading US provider of value health/beauty and household brands. As CEO at both companies, he drove the creation of new brands and forged new relationships with strategic customers. Earlier in his career, Stuart worked in senior management roles for Helene Curtis/Unilever, Jergens/Kao Brands, and began his career with L'Oréal. In addition to his executive roles, Stuart founded The Beautology Brands Company. Beautology created hair care brands and partnered with major drug chains to create exclusive premium beauty offerings. Through all these professional experiences, Stuart is most proud of partnering with passionate talented leaders working together to vastly improve the business, deliver optimal results, and offer personal growth for all involved.
Stuart graduated from University of Florida with a B.S.B.A. degree in Finance. He enjoys spending personal time with his wife, Roberta, his two adult children, Matt and Lindsay, and his loyal Weimaraner, Fiona.
As CFO, Scott is responsible for overseeing financial strategy, treasury, FP&A, financial reporting, compliance, M&A, and banking relationships.
Scott brings to Compass Health Brands more than 20 years of financial and operations experience from a variety of industries.
Prior to his time with Compass, Scott spent 15 years in the modular building industry holding various roles in Corporate Finance and Strategy with Algeco Scotsman (a holding company for Willscot and Target Lodgings in NA and the Modulaire Group in EUR/APAC) - which at the time was a +$2B company with operations in 29 countries around the world.
Scott holds a B.S. from The University of Vermont and a MBA from Boston University.
As Senior Vice President of Operations, Ray manages operations and supply chain with a consumer and customer mindset, ensuring a focus on product quality, operating a cost-efficient supply chain and delivering impeccable customer service. Ray brings more than 20 years of experience within operations, a strong track record of achieving and managing operational growth for major corporations as well as leading teams through organizational transformations. His experiences working in world class distribution operations has enabled him to deliver distribution efficiencies at Compass. He is focused on empowerment for his team ensuring the operational departments are agile to respond quickly to the ever-changing business landscape.
Ray has been engaged with Compass since 2015, initially helping manage the integration of Roscoe Medical and Carex IT systems. He remained involved in the business assisting in the acquisition and integrations of the PMI/Pinnacle and Meridian Brands. Ray was an integral part in the consolidation of Compass distribution centers and away from 3PL partners developing a network of three Compass managed DC’s. The current distribution network allows Compass to efficiently service consumers, patients, dealers, retailers, clinics, and distributors.
Ray graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in Industrial Management and has his MBA from Case Western Reserve University. He enjoys spending time with his wife Tammy and their four children ages 7-15. Ray spends his free time coaching his children’s teams.
As Senior Vice President leading the finance team, Kallie brings extensive operational and financial experience to her role and is responsible for the overall financial management of the Company, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, M&A, internal audit and tax functions.
Kallie has been with the organization for over 14 years and has been instrumental in both the financial and operational aspects of the business and has been involved with the integration of 8 acquisitions during her tenure. Kallie enjoys working with cross-functional teams and focusing on the continuous improvement of the business.
Prior to joining the Compass team, Kallie gained experience as a CPA in audit and tax with McGladrey & Pullen where she audited and advised clients in markets ranging from manufacturing to banking.
Kallie is a graduate of the University of South Dakota School of Business and based out of our Sioux Falls, SD office where she enjoys spending time with her husband, Patrick and their daughter, Victoria.
As Senior Vice President leading the Retail Business Unit, Tony is responsible for leading the strategy and development to drive the category growth and development of our retail partners. Tony is a thorough leader and passionate about developing and implementing winning programs.
Tony brings more than 20 years of consumer-packaged goods sales experience across all major retail channels, including food, drug, mass and club. He was a senior-level sales executive at US Nutrition, a $3.2 billion manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of top-selling brands, including Nature's Bounty, Osteo-BiFlex, Sundown, and Pure Protein. Previously, as a top sales executive at Schiff Nutrition, a leading manufacturer of premium vitamins and supplements, he helped grow the business exponentially. He was responsible for developing and executing the national sales plan that included the launch of Schiff Mega Red, which became the #1 selling brand in its category. Prior to Schiff, Tony spent ten highly successful years in various sales and sales leadership roles with The Gillette Company.
Tony holds a B.S.B.A. in Economics from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
Before joining Compass Health Brands in December 2017, Mike Scarsella was the NE Regional Vice President at Golden Technologies. Prior to Golden, Mike spent more than 18 years as a marketing and sales executive in the Home Furnishings industry.
His focus during this tenure was on developing products and strategies to maximize sell-through at the retail level. He worked with a broad array of companies including Henredon, Ralph Lauren, Durham Furniture, and Harden Furniture and fostered strong and successful relationships with some of the finest furniture retailers in the US and Canada.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s in Communications from The University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Planning from the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.
David came to Compass Health Brands in 2018 to grow Compass' E-Commerce and Digital Marketing presence in the Consumer Medical Products Industry. David has over 20 years experience growing and building E-Commerce business for consumer product manufacturers and distributors. Prior to David's arrival to Compass, he was the Vice President of E-Commerce at the Step2 Company.
In David's role, he is in charge of Compass' B2B E-Commerce, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Retail.com, and Direct-To-Consumer websites.
David has a diverse background in E-Commerce built on his roots in technology. In the first part of David's career, he was an Information Technology consultant specializing in web programming, Internet architecture, and database administration. While building many E-Commerce programs from scratch, David became very passionate about E-Commerce and Digital Marketing and now enjoys building and growing Compass' E-Commerce programs.
David has a degree from Bowling Green State University in Management Information Systems. In David's free time, you can usually find him fishing or cheering on his favorite Cleveland sports teams.
