Compass Health Celebrates the Retirement of Sales Representative Bill Lader

Cleveland, OH – Compass Health is proud to announce the retirement of Bill Lader, a distinguished Sales Representative whose remarkable career has spanned over six decades. Bill's retirement will take effect on 10/31/2024, bringing to a close a legacy of dedication, service, and exceptional client relationships.

Bill began his journey in sales in 1963 and joined the Pro Basics Company, which later became part of Compass Health in 2016. His extensive experience in the medical field, including a long-standing partnership with Invacare, has shaped him into a trusted figure in the industry. Bill's commitment to his clients and colleagues is evident in his approach to business, always prioritizing honesty and integrity. He recalls invaluable advice from mentor Mary Ann, emphasizing the importance of never lying to customers—a principle he has upheld throughout his career.

During his time with Compass Health, Bill has made significant contributions, building relationships across six states and fostering a strong sense of community among his clients. "I called on everybody I was selling to," he said, reflecting on his inclusive approach. His success is attributed not only to his hard work but also to the joy he found in his interactions, affectionately known as "Billy from Philly" among his clients.

As the organization has evolved, Bill has been an essential part of its growth, adapting to industry changes and continuously striving to meet the needs of those he serves. "I would call on state hospitals in Pennsylvania. It turned out to be one of the best things I ever did," he shared, highlighting his proactive approach to building business relationships.

Looking ahead, Bill plans to spend quality time with his wife of 43 years, their two successful sons, and eight grandchildren. "I want to focus on family," he noted, eager to embrace this new chapter of his life.
